summer did, my friends. and i have no choice (and really, i don't want to choose) but to let it take over.

1)velveeta cheese multiplies...triplifies even, when it melts.
2)it's wednesday, and better, it's 07-08-09
3)no matter what brent says, i told him about that fun date above. first. i did. really.
4)i made this pie for a meeting tonight. it took, for reals, about 6 minutes tops.
5)we've plucked two deep purple peppers from our garden in the last couple days.
6)i realized tonight, as i made supper, packed lunches and made the pie, the kitchen sink desperately needs to get a good scrubbin. i'm talkin clorox. an old toothbrush. the tough stuff.
7)since i realized this about the sink, i will have to clean it soon. in fact, i think i may have time before work.

*update...i didn't clean the kitchen sink this morning, i did however, clean the toilet.

*update...12:34 56 7/8/9 happens today as well.

ronda, i need your help. or carol. or sarah. or margaret mary elizabeth. in fact, you could sign your name as an "x"...it makes me no difference...just please, tell me what this is. it was in a box of auction goodies. kitchen auction goodies. it could possibly be vintage...or maybe just retro inspired fabric. homemade or manufactured? no tags to say manufacturer...no uneven stitching to scream homemade.

i've asked my people. my life smart, kitchen smart, vintage smart people...and they were perplexed as well.

ideas? facts? links? guesses? suggestions?
would love to hear them.

1. no work, except my own work.
2. garage sales. they promise to be good. i'll be the judge.
3. overcast and drizzly. i kinda like it.
4. the flag will fly if the drizzly stops. it's good to be 'merican.
5. plan to make some cards and buttons for tomorrows art festival.
6. brents class reunion tonight. the jury's out on this one.

*update. back from the garage sale. they were good on their promise. good. very, very good.

quite a week. work stuff at work. work stuff after work. and, last night, work stuff as i slept. i'll be back tomorrow, not work. just life.

(and just a note...i am lovin my work, so all this work stuff doesn't really seem like work. yeah me.)
